KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 25): Deleum Bhd has bagged two contracts from Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd for provision of integrated corrosion solution and one contract from Sarawak Shell Bhd and Sabah Shell Petroleum Co Ltd for oilfield services.

The value of the contracts will depend on the agreed rates and the work order issued.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, Deleum said its 60%-owned subsidiary Deleum Primera Sdn Bhd was awarded the two new contracts from Petronas Carigali, while the group's wholly-owned unit Deleum Oilfield Services Sdn Bhd secured the contract from Sarawak Shell and Sabah Shell.

Deleum said Deleum Primera's first contract involves the provision of alternative blasting and painting, namely spongejet, vapor and other methods, for Petronas Carigali from Sept 5 this year until Sept 4, 2021, with a one-year extension option.

The second contract to Deleum Primera involves the provision of riser corrosion prevention system and maintenance for Petronas Carigali's assets in Sabah and Peninsular Malaysia, from July 4 this year to July 3, 2021, with a one-year extension option.

Meanwhile, the contract to Deleum Oilfield involves the provision of slickline equipment and services for Sarawak Shell and Sabah Shell from Aug 27 this year to Aug 26, 2021, with an extension option of two years.

Deleum shares gained two sen or 1.92% to close at RM1.06 today, giving it a market capitalisation of RM425.19 million.
