KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 27): Deleum Bhd has bagged a new contract from ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Malaysia Inc to provide slickline equipment and services for the latter.

Deleum said the value of the contract depends on the agreed rates and work order issued by customers for the duration of the contract.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, Deleum said the three-year contract was awarded to its wholly-owned subsidiary Deleum Oilfield Services Sdn Bhd, with a one-year extension option.

"The contract is expected to contribute positively towards the group's earnings and net assets per share for the duration of the contract," it added.

Deleum shares closed up 2.5 sen or 2.59% at 99 sen today, with 80,000 shares done, valuing the group at RM397.11 million.
