SINGAPORE (Sept 22): Del Monte Foods, Inc (DMFI), the US subsidiary of Del Monte Pacific, has entered into an agreement to sell its Sager Creek vegetable business to McCall Farms for a consideration sum of US$55 million (S$74.3 million).

Sager produces specialty vegetables for the foodservice and retail markets, and manufactures several brands, including Veg-all, Freshlike, Popeye, Princella, Trappey's and Allens.
