PETALING JAYA (Jan 16): Ride-hailing platform, Decentralised Alternative Cabs Serving and Empowering Everyone (DACSEE), today launched its transport hailing system in Malaysia to help drivers earn more income.

Chief Executive Officer, Alexander von Kaldenberg said DACSEE is the first decentralised ride-hailing system in the world and allowed drivers to level up and gain extra income by recruiting more drivers under them.

“We are currently focusing on recruiting more drivers to join our fleet and expect to launch our mobile application (app) in April this year,” he said at the launch today.

The launch was attended by Science, Technology & Innovation Deputy Minister, Datuk Abu Bakar Mohamad Diah.

The Deputy Minister said the ministry is encouraging companies to incorporate the latest innovations and technologies into their businesses.

Meanwhile, DACSEE Chief Operating Officer, Lim Chiew Shan said the company had teamed up with a local technology partner, DMD Technology Sdn Bhd, to develop the mobile app for both drivers and users.

“Over the past 10 days, we managed to recruit about 5,000 drivers who have registered with us,” he added.

He said DACSEE hoped to create a better understanding of its operations to all stakeholders before the upcoming app launch.

DACSEE is now at the stage of engaging with regulators and relevant authorities on its services.
