KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 23): Credit Suisse has named Mia Idora Ismail as Head of Malaysia Coverage in its Asia Pacific Investment Banking and Capital Markets (IBCM) department.
 
Based in Kuala Lumpur, she will be charged with broadening the bank’s relationships with Malaysian clients — including entrepreneurs and corporates — as well as delivering the full range of Credit Suisse’s integrated bank offering.
 
In a statement, the financial services provider said Mia Idora has strong client network and over 20 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets and corporate fund raisings to Credit Suisse.
 
Prior to the role, she had spent seven years at Maybank Investment Bank Bhd, leading a franchise as co-head of Malaysia Mergers and Acquisitions.
 
Her focus will be on driving the growth of the group’s IBCM business in Malaysia, Credit Suisse said.
