KUALA LUMPUR (June 27): Country Heights Holdings Bhd has proposed a bonus issue of up to 137.85 million warrants to raise funds, which will finance the property developer and investor's working capital needs.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, Country Heights said it plans to issue the five-year warrants on the basis of one warrant for every two existing shares held by shareholders.

"The company intends to utilise the proceeds arising from the exercise of the warrants, if any, as working capital for the group, as and when received by the company.

"Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the proposed bonus issue of warrants is expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2018," Country Heights said.

Country Heights said it has appointed SJ Securities Sdn Bhd as the principal adviser for the bonus issue of warrants.

In a separate statement, Country Heights said its share trade has been halted since 11.22am today in conjunction with the announcement on the bonus issue of warrants. Country Heights said its share trade will resume at 2:30pm.
