KUALA LUMPUR (March 8): Opcom Holdings Bhd’s non-executive director Teh Li King has been appointed to Complete Logistics Services Bhd’s board as a non-independent and non-executive director effective today.   

In a separate filing today, the logistic group also announced the resignation of its executive director Leon Law Li Yion, 28, effective today, due to personal reasons.  

Teh, 42, is currently the group chief corporate officer of Hextar Group of Companies. He is also a director at furniture and plasticware maker SWS Capital Bhd, the non-independent non-executive director of Opcom and is concurrently serving as director of several private limited companies. 

These companies are all linked to businessman Datuk Eddie Ong Choo Meng. 

According to Complete Logistics, Teh’s experience includes corporate management, banking and manufacturing. 

Prior to his current positions, he was heading the sales and marketing teams in PP Steel Service Centre Sdn Bhd, Rex Metal Packaging Berhad and subsequently Sumimetal Industries (M) Sdn Bhd.   

Teh graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business from New Hampshire College (now known as Southern New Hampshire University), USA in 2000. He also obtained a Master of Business Administration from Charles Sturt University, Australia in 2003.

Shares of Complete Logistics Services Bhd’s finished 16 sen or 8.89% lower at RM1.64 today, giving it a market capitalisation of RM210 million. Since the beginning of the year, the stock has risen by 134%.
