KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 20): CIMB Group Holdings Bhd won the Best Malaysian Organisation category under Talent Corp Bhd's Life At Work Awards 2017, while Digi.Com Bhd chief executive officer (CEO) Albern Murty is the winner of CEO Champion category.

Talent Corp is an agency under Malaysia's Prime Minister's Department.

Talent Corp announced the winners of its Life At Work Awards 2017 at its Future of Work, Workplace, Workforce Conference today.

Talentcorp CEO Shareen Shariza Datuk Abdul Ghani said at the event: "We are seeing even more commitment from companies in addressing flexibility in workplace policies and shift in culture to respond to current and future talent needs." 

"With the announcement made during Budget 2018 in promoting flexible work arrangements, we are positive that companies will be inspired to implement advanced workplace strategies of the future," Shareen said.

Over 30 companies participated in the Life At Work Awards 2017, Shareen added.

A note on Talent Corp's website said it presents its Life At Work Awards to deserving employers. The award categories comprise the Best Malaysian Organisation, Best International Organisation, Best Lean Organisation, Best Initiative and CEO Champion segments.

"Organisations, including government agencies and non-profit organisations who wish to participate in Life At Work, must meet the following criteria: Offer at least three flexible work arrangements and provide at least two family-friendly facilities and/or work-life benefits," Talent Corp said.
