KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 5): In the spirit of 'harvest festival', property developer Cicet Asia Development Sdn Bhd celebrated the arrival of the Mid-Autumn Festival yesterday (Oct 4), with a community-engaging event at the Greenfield Residence Sales gallery, a resort-style development located at Bandar Sunway.

Mid-autumn festival is observed in many ways but it is ultimately perceived as a gathering of family and friends in the spirit of reunion, in conjunction with the bright round moon on the eighth lunar month.

For Cicet Asia, the celebratory event was organised to bring together communities and families around the development, for camaraderie and fun.

Its project director Tan Swee Ee said the event was warmly welcomed by the community and expressed the hope that it helps to inculcate a sense of appreciation for Malaysia’s rich cultural diversity. He said the event is a good time to bring the communities and families together in the spirit of fun and good-neighbourliness.

"We at Cicet Asia are looking forward to bringing more events of this nature in the future.”

The event was inaugurated with a spectacular opening performance of 24 drums to ring in a good year. The visitors then had the opportunity to see Vivi and Yuan Yuan ‘live’ in action, while the hosts of popular financial talk show Money Money Home offered advice on different investments, including property investment.

In addition, the event was brimmed with fun-filled activities, including Lantern Painting, Rabbit Dough Dolls making, and Snow-skin Mooncake making. A few lucky visitors even went home with attractive prizes from the Lucky Draw sessions.

Another crowd puller was the special performance by Malaysia's very own Mr. Bean impersonator, who had everyone of all ages laughing and entertained by his antics on stage.

Greenfield Residence is an inaugural project under Cicet Asia, located at Sunway Mentari, off Lebuhraya Damansara Puchong. This green and sustainable project was built in accordance with the Green Building Index (GBI). It has 816 residential suites in 3 towers, featuring a 50-metre infinity pool, sunken sundeck, hot tub, multi-color Flower Zone, Pink Blossom Trail, a jogging trail that encircles a 0.8ha recreational podium, and a floating gym. The built-up areas of the suites are 581 sq ft to 1,302 sq ft, and are priced from RM430,000 onwards.
