KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 6): Trading in the shares of troubled China Automobile Parts Holdings Ltd (CAP) continued to be suspended as it failed to submit its quarterly report for the financial year ended Sept 30, 2018 (FY18). 

CAP shares have been suspended from trading since June 8, 2017 after it failed to release its 1QFY17 report by May 31.

“As the company's shares has been suspended from trading since June 8, 2017, the trading suspension of CAP will continue until further notice,” the group informed in a filing today.

The stipulated timeframe to submit the quarterly report was November 30. According to Bursa, if a listed issuer fails to issue the outstanding financial statements within 5 market days after the expiry of the relevant timeframes, it shall suspend the trading from the following next market day.
