KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 11): Bursa Malaysia Bhd CEO has been reducing his stake in the stock exchange since August this year, having pared off 0.126% or some 751,400 shares to-date.

His latest disposals involve some 303,100 shares or a 0.05% stake, through two transactions that took place yesterday (Wednesday, Dec 10) and today, according to the stock exchange regulator’s latest announcement this evening.

He sold 218,100 shares at RM8.04 each yesterday, and some 85,100 shares at RM8.05 apiece on Dec 9 (Tuesday).

Following the latest disposals, Tajuddin's direct shareholdings in Bursa is now down to 0.004% or 21,800 shares. He is also deemed interested in some 241,300 shares.

Shares in Bursa inched up 1 sen or 0.12% to close at RM8.05 today, translating into a market capitalisation of RM4.3 billion. Some 317,500 shares changed hands throughout the day.
