KUALA LUMPUR (March 28): Bursa Malaysia had today slapped Anzo Holdings Bhd with an unusual market activity (UMA) query on Anzo shares' recent rise. Anzo, which manufactures wood products, is also a builder.
On March 13 this year, Anzo shares closed at 29 sen before gradually rising to 54.5 sen yesterday (March 27).
Today, the stock slipped 2.5 sen or 5% at 12:30pm to settle at 52 sen for a market capitalisation of RM162.17 million. Bursa told Anzo: "We draw your attention to the sharp rise in price of your company's securities recently."
Anzo had not responded to Bursa's UMA query at the time of writing.
