The index series allows investors to gain exposure to the long term growth potential of the palm oil industry, Bursa and FTSE said in a joint statement.
The three indices launched were the FTSE Bursa Malaysia palm oil plantation index in ringgit based on the FTSE-Bursa EMAS universe, FTSE-Bursa Asian palm oil plantation index in ringgit and the FTSE-Bursa Asian palm oil plantation index in US dollar.
