Points to ponder
The company’s net profit grew to RM36 million, or 5.11 sen per share, for FY2009 ended Sept 30, compared with RM33 million or 4.68 sen per share a year ago. Its share price has more than tripled since January last year to RM3.11 last Thursday.

Remuneration
Directors took home RM1.28 million in FY2009, about 24% lower than the RM1.68 million in FY2008.

Auditors
Crowe Horwath was paid RM73,000 for FY2009, compared with RM72,000 for FY2008. The firm will seek reappointment at the AGM.

Despite the unfavourable economic conditions, the company’s revenue rose slightly to RM178.2 million for FY2009 ended Sept 30, from RM162.9 million a year ago. But its net profit dropped 8.2% to RM15.7 million from RM17.1 million the previous year.
