<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>He replaces Mohd Ariff Yeop Ishak, 55, who had tendered his resignation as managing director-cum-group CEO, but who has now been redesignated executive chairman, according to a bourse filing.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Ariff has also been independent and non-executive chairman of Perak Corp Bhd since August 2018.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Ariff replaces Mohamed Shafeii Abdul Gafoor, 56, who had resigned as non-independent and non-executive chairman “to focus on the development of its related Company”.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Shafeii is also Perak Corp Group CEO and executive director, and non-executive chairman of Kossan Rubber Industries Bhd.</p></div>
