KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 19): Bintai Kinden Corp Bhd is partnering with Vista Springs Development Sdn Bhd to jointly develop a premise in Melaka, which has an estimated gross development value (GDV) of RM350 million.

Located on approximately 4.74 acres of freehold land, the development will be for hospitality, residential and/or commercial purposes, subject to proper carrying out of due diligence and feasibility studies, prior to the contractual binding arrangement between the parties.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, Bintai Kinden said its wholly-owned subsidiary Kejuruteraan Bintai Kindenko Sdn Bhd (KBK) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Vista Springs in order to establish a collaboration between both parties.

The joint venture will see both parties combine skills, experiences and resources, in order to work towards developing the premises for mutual interests, as well as for the benefit of communities.

The estimated GDV of the proposed development is expected to contribute positively towards the future earnings of the group, the filing added.

Shares of Bintai Kinden closed 0.05 sen or 2.78% at 17.5 sen today, for a market capitalisation of RM50.33 million.
