KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 25): Bintai Kinden Corporation Bhd shars rose 6.67% in early trade today after it bagged a RM14.03 million contract from Tenaga Nasional Bhd to set up a 132kV gas insulated switchgear switching station at Kuchai Lama, Kuala Lumpur.
At 9.05am, Bintai Kinden rose 1 sen to 16 sen with 459,400 shares done.
The group's wholly-owned subsidiary Kejuruteraan Bintai Kindenko Sdn Bhd accepted the award, Bintai Kinden said.
It said the contract is non-renewable and estimated to be completed within 710 days from the commencement date.
