KUALA LUMPUR: Bina Puri Holdings Bhd has bagged a RM35.5 million contract from Aktif Unggul Sdn Bhd to undertake pavement works from Sungai Buloh to Assam Jawa, Kuala Selangor.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Bina Puri said its subsidiary Sungai Long Industries Sdn Bhd had accepted the letter of award from Aktif Unggul on Aug 1 for the pavement works and temporary road diversion at Federal Route FT54 linking Sungai Buloh to Assam Jawa. The works under the contract are expected to be completed within 31 months from Dec 16.

“With the latest award, the group’s unbuilt book order stands at RM1.5 billion as at to-date,” said Bina Puri.

The project is expected to contribute positively to the group’s net assets and earnings for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2018.
