KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 13): Automotive air-conditioning parts and accessories manufacturer Autoair Holdings Bhd (Autoair) sees Karyon Industries Bhd (Karyon)’s chairman Loh Chen Yook emerged as one of its substantial shareholders.

According to a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, Loh comes to own a deemed interest of 13.64% or 6 million shares in Autoair following his acquisition of shares in Galactrans Sdn Bhd today.

Loh, who was a veteran in the property development sector, was also the managing director of Perduren (M) Bhd (Perduren) until Mar 31 this year. He resigned from Perduren citing that he needed more time to attend to his “other personal commitments”.

As a PN17 company, Autoair has up to Nov 15, 2014 to submit its regularisation plan.

Autoair closed unchanged at 12 sen today, giving it a market capitalisation of just RM5.28 million.
