KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 16): PKR  president-elect Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said its central election committee will investigate members' allegation that money politics is being practiced in ongoing party elections.

The central election committee is also known as Jawatankuasa Pemilihan Pusat (JPP). "JPP will investigate," Anwar told reporters outside the Parliament today.

Anwar said the party's political bureau will also discuss the matter at its meeting tonight.

Earlier today, Bernama quoted PKR vice-president Rafizi Ramli as saying money politics is seen as alarming during PKR's election season.

It was reported Rafizi had said yesterday that party members should reject candidates who practised the culture.
