KUALA LUMPUR (July 6): Low-cost carrier AirAsia Bhd will soon launch  MyCorporate, a suite of products exclusively made with the business traveller in mind.

In a statement today, AirAsia said companies that sign up to MyCorporate will have access to a convenient, easy-to-use online booking system and comprehensive reporting to keep track of corporate travelling expenses.

“With our extensive network and frequency across the group, we have seen a rise in the number of those travelling for business on AirAsia.

“With the launch of MyCorporate, we believe we have a programme that serves the needs of both the traveller and the company to further capture our share of this important segment,” said AirAsia group chief executive officer Tan Sri Tony Fernandes.

MyCorporate carries three bundle options i.e. Fare Only, Corporate Lite and Corporate Full Flex, depending on the requirements of the traveller and the company budget.

Fare Only means just that, with any add-on options available for a fee.

Corporate Lite bundles air fare, a complimentary meal, standard seat assignment and dedicated check-in counter together. "Guests can also change their flight once up to 24 hours before departure, with no flight change fee," said AirAsia. However, any fare difference is still payable.

As for the Corporate Full Flex, besides air fare, a complimentary meal and a hot seat assignment, the traveller gets 20kg baggage allowance, dedicated check-in counter, XPress immigration, Xpress Baggage, Premium Red Lounge access (only applicable to flights departing from KLIA2), priority boarding, and travel insurance (only applicable to flights departing from Malaysia and Thailand).

Corporate Full Flex travellers also gets unlimited flight changes up to two hours before departure, with no flight change fee. Again, any fare difference will still be payable.

On top of that, they will also be able to enjoy GoShow, which allows them to standby on an earlier flight on the same day, to the same destination, with no added fees or fare charges.

“This is the next evolution for AirAsia corporate products. With MyCorporate, we are better able to offer the right product to our corporate client’s needs and budgets,” said AirAsia group corporate sales head Barry Klipp.
