<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner>KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 23): Another 33 securities have been included in the latest shariah-compliant securities list, while 22 securities have been excluded from the previous list issued in May.

The updated list of shariah-compliant securities approved by the Shariah Advisory Council of the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) was released by the SC today. 
&nbsp; 
The list, which takes effect tomorrow, features a total of 686 shariah-compliant securities, which constitute 76% of the 902 listed securities on Bursa Malaysia. 
&nbsp; 
According to the list, the top three shariah-compliant industries are the industrial products (193 securities), trading/services (156 securities) and consumer products sectors (105 securities). 
&nbsp; 
SC said the next updated list will be released in May 2018, based on the review of the audited financial statements released up to March 31, 2018.</div>
