KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 2): DAP lawmaker and Petaling Jaya Utara MP Tony Pua said Malaysia's Parliament rejected 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB)-related questions as the matter is still under investigation.

In a statement today, Pua claimed that investigations were started and closed and were reopened by different authorities, "yet no one seems to be getting closer to any firm conclusions".

"In Parliament, questions on 1MDB get rejected because matters are either in court or under investigations," Pua said.

Pua said Attorney-General Tan Sri Apandi Ali had only confirmed the continuing 1MDB investigations because of Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said's reply in Parliament on Monday (Oct 30) that the probe was still ongoing.

At the time of writing today, Apandi and Azalina had not issued statements in response to Pua's statement.
